Nights can be hard for sure, when things slow down the mind sometimes just keeps spinning, try going for a walk,a slow walk, see if it gets rid of some of the energised feeling

Are you aware of what you are dreading? Whats the main thought that triggers the anxiety

Thats why you panic at night. Its called anticipatory anxiety and many people experience that. Its hard when your feeling off and have to take care of kids, it can feel scary as your mind starts messing around with all the what ifs and your body starts feelings weird stuff. It has happened to me too, but its so important to know what is triggering the anxiety because then you can rationalize it out. The truth is your need to care for the kids will override the anxiety. At night when kids are asleep and hubby is home you can straighten out the house and stuff and get ready for the next day. Then all you have to do is watch over the kids during the day. Get all the busier stuff out of the way when its not all on you. They do grow up and they will become less reliant on you so it will become easier.
