Anxious again

Posted , 5 users are following.

Been on 10 mg celexa for like 11-12weeks. The last 2 weeks were great, no anxiety, and felt great like my old self. We left fri for vacation and i have had panic and anxiety every day! So maddening since i was doing good and i am on vacation tring to relax and have fun and the dang anxiety hits again. Od course its that time of the month so maybe thats causing some of this but there i go overthinking and trIng to figure it out again. I hope this blip doesnt last long.

Does travelling cause you anxiety or being away from familiar territory. I have phobias, why I am asking and 20 mg works for me. I wonder if this is where therapy will help, at one point I walked from both therapy and meds

I have always loved to travel, but this was to a new place and it was a long drive (17 hours) away. I do fine at night, but mornings have been rough. I do have clonazapam along and will probably take that in the morning. I had added claratin this week too for allergies so that could be amping me up too.

Thanks michelle, today was a good day. I also started taking my probiotics again and skipped the allergy pill for now unless it gets bad so maybe those things helped as well!

That's so annoying. You know what though, I often find holiday time to be difficult if I am having a bout of depression, because of the lack of routine/familiarity. Having a routine really helps to deal with the feelings, and kind of distract myself.

I'm recently back up to 7.5 mg and on holiday, hence lots of time on my hands, and am noticing how easy it is to slip a bit.

It is just a blip. Plus hormonal, for sure.

It will pass, probably as soon as you kind of accept its there...

Thanks Ruth. The afternoons have been better. Mornings are tough. I started allergy med this week too so maybe thats amping me up as well. Thanks for your encouraging words. We have a week of vacation left and do want to enjoy it!

      Mama,

Your on vacation put your headphones on take deep breaths and look at the sky and just escape with your music.

I think it’s the Claritin. Do you take it on the morning? Try it at night. I was keeping my fingers crossed you were ok. I just saw your other message to me. It’s a small blip and thankfully it doesn’t last long. I’m doing ok this weekend I had anxiety and a lot of congestion.

Maybe it’s all the rain and humidity we have been having here. It’s depressing being inside. Keep me posted how you are.

      Will😎🕺🏼🚣???🏊???🏄???🚴???

I have such good experience with Yin Yoga, feel chilled out for 48 hrs after each class. I think for us with anxiety it can help, if I can get a routine going maybe I can cut ask my dosage slightly. I am very careful about reducing

Had a good day for a couple days and now today feeling kinda yucky. Not really anxious feeling, just weird feeling, head warm feeling on inside, stomach upset and just kinda blah. Not good when on vacation.
