Anxious in morning by night I'm feeling fine??? Why??

i woke this morning at 6 am could not get back to sleep, the anxious, depressive mood cloud slid over my head and stuck there all day until about half an hour ago so 7 pm in the evening!! All day I have worried about going back to work tomorrow after being off sick with anxiety but right now I think, what you worried about!! I bet in the morning I'm anxious again!! WHY!

Does anyone know why?

    Hi Liz I am the same and was saying this to the my doctor the other day. I feel so anxious when I wake up..all day panicky...ocd and it is a struggle to get through the day..come night time I feel a lot more normal. This is the 3rd time I have had severe Anxiety and Depression and everytime the nights are better. I was told it is common in Depression for this to happen....mornings are worse and nightimes are better.

    Have your cortisol levels checked. Thats common with low cortisol levels in the morning. Yes anything can happen with anxiety. Some are am anxiety, some are pm anxiety people. It kind of depends on the enviornment and your lifestyle. It can also be if you are in medicatiin and when it peaks and works its best.

    Hey, just now seeing this post as I recently googled my symptoms and this post describes me ro a tee!  I’ve been thinking about going to a hormone specialist as I seemed to have tried everything else. Has the HRT helped and I’m curious as to what you’re both referring to when you say you’re on AD?  

    I really hope to hear something from you soon and this is destroying my life and I’m about to lose my job. Thanks in advance !

    I have suddenly started with the anxiety, fear, nerves forst thing in the morning. I have just takin a week off of work do to the symptoms. I worry mostly about work and the stuff I do at work. I can't figure out why. Most of the guys I work with are great guys. Would never create a bad environment for me.

    I'm thinking its just the fact that I'm 42 now. I'm a single parent, my son is 19 lives with his mother. We have a very good relationship now. All my anxiety started about a month ago. I can't pin point what triggered it. I have noticed that I was eating oatmeal with blueberrys in the morning with my medicine, it seem to help. I did have to force myself to eat it. For most of my life I have absolutely no appetite at 6 am.

    I know I probably didn't help your situation, but I wanted to let you know I am going through the same thing. Good luck. Just take one day at a time.
