Anxious out of my mind - need surgery advice asap - ovarian cyst/torsion

After a pelvic MRI scan, my ob/gyn immediately messaged me after she got the results and moved my surgery up as soon as possible.

Turns out my ovary has twisted and is very enlarged. For a while I've been getting intermittent crampy and needle pricking pain. The main symptom i've had is nausea. They also said my ovary is displaced.

Enlarged to approximately 6.5 x 9.3 x 7.2. Within it is a 5.9 x 4.7 x 5.6 mass/cyst of some sort.

If anyone has any experience with torsion, cyst or ovary removal, any advice is highly appreciated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ! I'm so anxious.

Well I have been having this pain on the left side my left ovary is bigger than the right last month they didn’t mention a cyst but i had it 2 months ago i had a lot of pain and nausea and they are repeating a ultrasound tomorrow .

Are you in severe pain ? Is it every month or all the time?

I've had intermittent crampy pain that feels like severe period cramping but for the past few days it's been mainly nausea and needle prickling discomfort. Also have lower back aching.

      FEEL BETTER !

I had both ovaries removed with 2 cysts just 3 months ago. I had the pin pricking sensation and aches... cramping etc..

Don’t worry about the surgery- honestly I was so worried it made me feel worse and it went fine!! I had open surgery as well. No complications and I am glad to have it over!
