ANY ADVICE HELPS: I have had a horrible burning in my legs for 3 years

i have had this absolutely horrible itching and burning pain in my legs for 3 years now. there is no pattern to the flares other than

-night time, morning time, and after i shower

i have done everything to eliminate skin conditions: ive changed lotions, soaps, detergents, ive taken zyrtec daily and benadryl. ive done blood tests,EMG testing. ive been to 5 different doctors. it is both of my legs and only my legs, nowhere else on the body. it is an itching and painful burning feeling that feels deep in the skin. please if anyone has any advice i appreciate it so much. no Doctors seem to be in a rush to help me figure this out and i am in constant pain

    dear Maggie,

    Perhaps you should go to a doctor who is specialised in histamine intolerance. Mast Cell Activation Disorder Syndrome may be the mystery diagnosis for you too, as it was with my friend. She went to a professor-specialist in dermatology and allergology here in Belgium and last week he referred her to a specialist in Vienna ( Austria ), whom she still has to visit. It is a disease that is still unknown to the majority of doctors.

    I hope you'll find a good diagnosis and therapy!
