It does stop a lot of the original pain and I do sleep well on it. I have suffered some side effects but mine seem to be different to other peoples on here. I think it's a case of try it and see if it works for you

Just give it a go, Pregablin must be prescribed to 10's of thousands of people a year for a range of  medical problems. The people that comment on these sites are the people that are having problems with side effects and there aren't that many of us in the grand scale of things. Your Dr thinks that it'll work for you so believe in him and give it a go. Hopefully you'll be fine on them and they'll help with your anxiety. Just read all the instructions that coe with the tablets and watch out for the side effects listed. Any problems, get in touch with your GP as soon as possible

The internet is a great tool for people to share experiences but I think too much information can be a bad thing. In this case you have been prescribed the drug and rather then read the benefits of the drug you have found the 'horror stories'. Most people that take the drug every day and have no problems wouldn't comment on sites like this. I'm sure you'll be fine

I was prescribed it for burning face neuralgia, definitely works, haven't had any bad side effects, had bladder problems the past year so doctor told me to cut back to see if pregabalin was causing it, only take 150 mg and have cut down to 75mg every second day but haven't noticed any difference so it can't be the cause, had bad withdrawal systems though so not an easy drug to stop taking. Have read many scary stories about pregabalin which do scare you but I gave found it great for neuralgia so give it a go and if you have to stop taking it cut down dose slowly to stop bad withdrawal systems.

I'm in day three and finding the side effects a real struggle. Things seem to be ten times worse do they get worse before they get better?

Hiya, what dose are you taking and what side effects are you experiencing? I personally would keep going for a while, give it a chance. It could be just your body getting used to the drug and may get easier. If it's too much for you, make an appt to see you GP and discuss it with them

I have been on Pregablin for 5 weeks now, 150mg a day, I have found it very good for  my illness. At first, the first two weeks it left me feeling dizzy, sick and a bit agitated, but it soon settled down. I agree, it is a case of try it and see if it works for you as it does not suit everybody
