so, for past few weeks ive had a few issues. about week or so before christmas i had a bad sore throat and cough apparently laryngitis...anyway that cleared up but i started with some strange throat sensations (some was there even before the bad throat)
so i suffer with health anxiety and i did the bad thing of looking back of my throat...first off i noticed my left tonsil was slightly bigger then right (not sure if always been like that) and i also noticed what i think looks like blister on the back wall of my mouth! i googled! not a good idea! i must say i also have post nasal drip and possible silent reflux. i also get alot of strange senstations on my left side...one being it feels like something is on the back of mu tongue, mainly after ive eaten..only like its a small piece of paper or a crumb stuck there. i also get a feeling like my voicebox aches when i talk...sensations alway left side! i burp alot! not loud burps but more forced burps as i feel it clears my throat...i also clear my throat alot too. i alway feel like ive got air in my stomach or wind! iv just tested negative for h.pylori.
is this anxiety!? i feel im going mad with worry.

also ive just finished antibiotics as GP said throat looked slightly infected...but no change i dont think

if you have post nasal drip the. the tissues in the back of your throat might be irritated. seems like a lot of people have been going through this. I am going through it also.

yeah well i dont know how long they have been there as ive only just recently started looking but my husband also has them and he has no issues so im not sure! i clench my teeth alot and was diagnosed with TMJ, my jaw often becomes sore on the left side (same side as larger tonsil) so not sure if its connected. ill be seeing my dentist shortly so will ask. hoping for a referral to a ENT specialist as im having issues with feeling of lump in throat

i personally have been to an ent because my left ear has been feeling plugged and I also noticed in had bumps in back of throat and my left tonsil is larger than the right. the ent doc said everything was normal in my throat. he said the feeling I have in my ear might be from tmj also. good luck . pls keep us updated.

thanks! i will do. hoping to get some answers...i force burp alot and get a bloated stomach...think it may all be anxiety related too with maybe breathing in too much air! will post back when i know more
