Any idea?

Male. Early 20's

So I have this feeling of there being something in my lower rectum/anus. It feels swollen, that's the only way I can explain it. It's always there but it feels noticeably worse if say for example I've been sitting down for a long time. I'm almost certain I have Piles because I've seen them in the mirror.

Symptoms I experience;

Constant "pressure" in the rectum.

When urinating I feel it more. So pushing to urinate it feels like it's pressing up against something.

Even just laying down or walking around I feel as though there is just something there. The closest thing I can describe it to is a sensation of swelling, almost like it's swollen.

Slightly harder to go number 2. Like I have to push harder. Even though stool is soft.

Things I don't have;

I don't bleed at any time, even during Bowel movements.

I don't have any pain.

I'm just wondering what this could be. I'm thinking it may be internal Hemorrhoids. I'm just wondering what anyone here thinks. Of course the best thing to do is get checked by a doctor which I will do, but in the mean time any thoughts or if someone had something similar I would appreciate it if you could shed some light on the topic.

Thanks

    Hi Jack,

    I have the same feeling of swollen in anus .this swollen increase when bowel ,I feel I can push it inside but no bleeding,no pain.

    Things were worse because I had two internal hemmorhoids and I did banding for them .But the mentioned swollen still there and doctor said its normal and nothing to do with it.

    Update me if you find any solution and I will do.

    Good luck.

      Not all Piles are painful though and not all piles bleed...? I've seen them and they look exactly like piles.

      Its just they arent going. I've had this for a long time now.

      Hi, it would be worth getting referred to a gastroentologist they could botox in the anus to paralise the spincter to take the pressure off to make them go down or an op to either tie or cut out I had mine tied and that was ok as far as pain and bleeding were concerned I still take warm baths a few times a week and walk and drink a moderate amount of water and have more fibre but not too much i also found an oinment on precription that numbs it all and helps them shrink it is called scheriproct.lifting weight seems to make it all worse. I also bought a squatty potty it is a stool that when on the toilet it raises yr knees up to put the bowel in the correct position so as not to strain it. best wishes. Tracy.
