my eyes have been red on and off like this for w to 3 weeks. 30 year old female. sometimes slight burning as well. have been having a lot of screen time at work.

you might have blepharitis - you are young so it should clear up. Don't wear makeup, maybe get rid of what you have as you may have an infection due to sharing of makeup. And get some lid scrubs to clean your eye lids 2x a day for a week and then as needed to maintain.
I'm no expert so look up the condition and see if it makes sense to you - there's lots of info on it.

If you spend a lot of time in front of your screen, it will mean you blink less. This will make your eyes more dry. Try and get some preservative free artificial teats. Liquifilm is a good make or Systane. Make sure you get preservative free drops though as they cause less irritation. If you wear contact lenses, Blink do some drops you can put in your eyes while wearing them.
Have little breaks away from your screen just for a couple of minutes here and there. Put a timer on to remind yourself.
