Any idea why I have these scars?

I had paroneal tendon surgery that included groove deepening,putting in anchors,an internal ankle brace,repairing a tear and making one of the tendons shorter. I have the normal long scar on my ankle and another on the other side of that same ankle bone. It's is too large to be from a clamp or anything like that. I've also spoken to others who say they had groove deepening and didn't have that other scar. Any idea whyi do? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

    Ask your surgeon. He might have had to use an extra cut to get to your ankle.

      I can't. Which I why I asked here. She is unavalbe for at least 2 weeks. Please only feel free to answer if you have any helpful information or have the same cut. Thanks
