Any ideas?

I am a 22 yo sexually active female. I have had severe to moderate itching on my labia minora. This has been occuring on and off the past three months or more (I can't remember). It's usually right after my period. Twice I have felt small, flat but raised oval-shaped areas on my buttocks (close to where my cheek meets my thigh or near where the two cheeks meet). I can't really see what they look like, but they don't seem to be filled with pus or fluid. A few months ago, the itching was so severe at night and after my showers. My labial lips would swell  up to at least twice their normal size... That has not happened again, but several times, when I scratch the part that itches, I look at my nails, and they're tinged with blood under them, so I bleed lightly when I scratch. I also notice that it itches near the prepuce of my clit.

I'm concerned I might have herpes because of the bumps on my behind, but it might be a yeast infection because of the severe itching. Trich has occured to me, too, since I seem to produce a lot discharge randomly, but it's not really "frothy" or yellow-green. Normal color. Most of the time it has a normal, thin, runny consistency. Occasionally it's a little globular and mucous-y, but I think that's normal.

I never had a high fever that normally comes with an inital herpes infection. Haven't been that sick in at least 2 years.

Another idea is a hormone imbalance. My hormones have always been wacky, which could make the skin down there dry, cracked, at itchy.

Idk. Any ideas or advice?

I would busy go to the doctors offive and get STD tested just to rule that out. Without seeing the bumps, that would be my best advice to give you. If it is an std you don't want it to keep going on, that will do more harm then anything.

I don't have health insurance. Should I just get a lab test to draw blood and test for it that way?

and the bumps are very, very small. barely noticeable. They do NOT feel like pimples. On my right buttock cheek, there's only one by itself... On the left one though, there were a few close together, but not super clustered. They don't form scabs or crust over like a normal herpes blister...

Oh and the bumps don't hurt at all when I touch them. And the pain when I urinate is NOT originating from my urethra. I've had a UTI before, and it's not that kind of pain. It's specifically as though acid was being poured over my labia minora.
