AJ, fully agree with Kim about the Fordyce Spots.
The photo showing the brown marks is not very clear, however, brown marks that appear on the skin can have a number of causes - the most common one is regular exposure to dampness and the moisture remaining in place for too long. So, this is something active people such as those doing sports, gym workouts, cyclists doing regular millage, that kind of thing are susceptible to. However, it can occur simply if your clothing is too warm and sweat collects in your groin region on a regular basis - so people who do active work, say, carry quite heavy items, or who work in a warm or hot office environment can experience the kinds of conditions that would create this. Try to be aware if you are getting hot during the time you are working, then try to control your amount of sweat with light weight clothing ....

So, just to finish on what the brown mark could be - due to the photo it could be, as Kim rightly points out, something like a mole, or simply different pigmented skin, for example.
So yes, you could prevent further of these happening if it is linked to regular sweat and moisture in the area - getting briefs that are lightweight, or often thin cotton boxers, rather than heavyweight cotton is better. So for the gym, really you need to have freshly laundered shorts for each session, even if you do different activity sessions in the same day. The other essential is to shower after every session, the other essential linked to this is at the end of the shower is to ensure your entire groin region is completely dried - this is something many people give little attention to as they simply want to get in the shower, do a cursory wipe with the towel and get out of there as soon as possible. So, after a session, sweat and moisture must be completely eliminated - these kinds of approaches are the only way to deal with moisture being regularly present.
In terms of "any treatment" are you referring to the Fordyce Spots - if yes, then there is nothing you can do with them - some men only get a small group of them and for cosmetic reasons when there are only a few it is possible to have them surgically removed, but you have too many of them to have cosmetic approaches to dealing with them ......
