Any non-surgical treatment for Phimosis?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have been detected with Phimosis . The doctor said , surgery is the only option .

Is that true, or is there any other non-surgical cure for the same?

    Hi,

It's the only quick answer, but not the best.

A decent doctor would be recommending stretching and possibly steroid creams first as they should be tried before surgery. Some just like chopping or the money from surgery it seems.

Stretching often takes months, but many have success this way.

    DM me if you prefer.

    Rob.

Exactly as Rob says, surgery is not the only answer.

I stretched mine and it done the trick, you have to very patient though.

I have tried stretching. Hasn't done any change. I agree about the patience but when the groin pain bothers I just want to get things sorted even though I feel horrified to think about a surgery. Even worse, when it's a surgery of intimate area

At the end of the day only you can make the decision. My foreskin didn't retract at all in my teens when erect. My doctor said to try stretching and if it didn't work to come back and they would put me forward for circumcision. Partly due to my fear of operations and hospitals I chose not to go back but continually stretched and over the years it slowly but surely went back easier and with less pain. It seems I made the right decision as it works perfectly now, goes back with complete ease, and I still have my foreskin.
