Any of these syptoms sound familiar?

So I’ll keep it brief as I’m sure you get lots of traffic on this site.

Past 3 years have been a nightmare, I’ve struggled with the following

Red face

Stiff Joints

Pins and needles if I stay in same position for a very short time of lean on myself briefly

Fatigue

More recently

Ringing in ears - settled down a bit now

Dry eyes - More noticeable in the morning when I wake up, it can take up to 30 mins for me to get my eyes going

Hair loss - I’m a 38 YO male who had think hair but the last month it’s shedding rapidly. I don’t believe it’s Male baldness as the rate is far too alarming and my eyebrows and lashes are also falling out.

Fingernails - I had some vertical ridging which I put down to age. But I’m now getting a lot of horizontal ridges which from what I’ve read online signals an issue.

Any of the above sound familiar? I had a thyroid test in November and was told it was normal. Doctors seem to say I just have anxiety but I’m not in the slightest convinced. Thanks for your responses in advance.

Hi Lee. Your Ferritin and Iron are on the high side even if in range. Too much Iron in your blood thickens it and can cause health issues. Your Folate is very low. This can prevent you from detoxing your body from heavy metal buildup and other toxic substances. A homocysteine test would give you a better picture of toxin overload. Usually a low serum folate would raise homocysteine. Remember Iron is toxic too if it builds up too much in your blood. Donating blood could lower iron levels but you have to be strong enough too lose a pint.

Ps Sorry but your Iron is ABOVE range. Do you have hemachromatosis in your family history? You may be on your way to this condition if your iron keeps building up over time and you are already in the too high range for Iron. Keep away from shellfish and iron supplements. Talk to your doctor.
