Sorry to hear you are suffering. Having had several fractures my experience has been unable to walk. Think I would be heading to A&E if worried

Everyone's dread.  We are never in the clear.  Hope they can scan it to see if any things going on.  Otherwise soft tissue?  Hope it's not a fracture, but if it is, then rest rest rest.  I would rest up as much as poss before 9th or tell gp you'd like an urgent X-ray which would speed things up before surgeon appt.  did you do anything physical prior to the pain that might have caused it.  What a huge worry and always the interminable wait,  good luck

      hi

have not done anything daft that i know of.

1st time i realy noticed i was lightly resting against the edge of the kitchen worktop to look out of the window and felt like i had a carving knife going through my buttocks. went a bit white and fightened my wife!

Hi Pete ... I agree with Ann - if it is that bad and if you are so worried, go to A&E ... have an xray taken etc ... why wait until the 9th ?  do you take any pain killers?

take it easy and take care - big hug
