Any1 Drastically increased their Energy Envelope/Stamina?

Posted , 4 users are following.

Have had it for 4.5years, have made some good progress since I finally got to know what I have some 1.5year ago and learned to control it by being strict with my energy output.

I can now easily do the everyday tasks + 3hours of easy work per day +35 minute walk without getting worse, I have been able to increase it to this level Mostly thanks to getting an easy work I can do from home where I have to do something everyday at my own pace (repairing/cleaning/packing).

However I'm not sure what's the next step for me now, how do I go from here and get to the next level ( increase my Energy Envelope/Stamina 2x more for example).

Perhaps someone has reached this level in past, how did you got past this?

    Hi Tom

I went from being house-bound pretty much to getting a masters degree and I now work part-time in local government. It was a long slog and I don't have a magic bullet (I replied to your other post about top 5 things). For me chemical toxicity was a big problem due to occupational exposure in my previous job, so detoxing was important. I would say that gradual increase in activity and exercise was key. I gave myself small challenges and goals and then reviewed it and sometimes took a step back. I relapsed a couple of years ago after taking on a new job which was too demanding for me. I recovered with the help of CBT. The therapist had 10 years+ experience with CFS. The key has been to make choices which have lots of flexibility - so I did my degree part-time and I work part-time with some home-working. I take on things which are well within my capabilities rather than a big challenge these days. Good luck Tom. Sounds like you are doing well.
