Hello Ladies,
Do any of you sometimes feel like your throat is closing up? It's not hard to breathe or anything, it just feels like my throat is closing up. I can swallow just fine also. It's just a really weird feeling...

Yes, had that early on. Felt like a lump in my throat. An ENT scoped me and found nothing. It eventually went away. Think anxiety makes it worse or can even cause it.

I feel like I have EVERY symptom and it drives me nuts because Ive been a bad ass my whole life. My kids are 21 and 27 and I had them both naturally and they were almost 10 lbs each! Ive had heart palpitations, long periods, throat issues...anxiety, depression and just general craptastic feelings.

Oh, I know, me too. I'm always answering posts because I've had every symptom. It's crazy! This has really knocked me down and taken me out.
I'm three years in and over all much better than I was in year one. At least I'm functioning now. But still not normal and still have pretty bad weeks. I skipped my period for four months recently and then out of the blue got a completely normal period! So I'm not sure if I will feel better when I'm finally in full meno, or if things will get worse. It's a scary thought.
Hope we will one day feel amazing! XO

The biggest surprise is, its not how I expected it to be...my mom was born in 1940 and she hid her symptoms, my sister,1960,went through it while her husband was terminally ill and my other sister had a hysterectomy at age 38, so I had nobody telling me what to expect. When I missed my first period 3 years ago, I took a pregnancy test! My symptoms became bad at Christmas and this year theyve been awful. This board has relaxed me, reading of so many women having the same symptoms. I hope we all can find relief!

my mom was born 1955 and she hid her symptoms too. I have 3 brothers so basically I have no other female that i can ask/trust about these issues. I also find some comfort in this board, knowing that other ladies are in the same situation.
