I manage a rather odd allergy. I cannot be around any kind of acids such as citrus and vinegar, include salad dressings, sweets that contain citric acid or crisps with vinegar. Whilst it is manageable it impinges on those around me. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi,
I've found my skin reacting badly (becoming red) after using a wash (clearasil), that contains Salicylic Acid. However, I'm not sure the specific cause of the allergy, or if Salicylic Acid is the reason.
