I don't have it all the time but I hate it. I"m just getting over a UTI but still have the memory of it in my monkey mind and can't let it go.
The antibiotics knocked it out but it lives on in my head.

Yes, mine is more in the vagina area! It comes and goes. Right now I don't have it but it but I have had it about 4 times in the past 2 years (since I turned 42!). So annoying.

About 2 weeks or so on and off. The last time seemed to be on and off for about a month. Are you perimenopausal? I think it might be hormones. I am not sure if anything in particular preceded them- nothing that comes to mind. Things seem to go away when I get my period though. That it why I think it is hormonal.
