Anyone else get awful sore throat from steroid nasal spay?

Hi, thanks for your time.Would appreciate any answers.I suffer with extreme hayfever and the ONLY thing that works for my breathing and sneezing is a nasal spray steroid (corticosteroids) (Avymys or similar). However this time it's given me tonsilitis and I feel so ill. This has happened before with this type of medication as always causes a post nasal drip.  Does any one else get side effects such as an horrifc sore throat from these sprays and have you found any suitable replacement? Oral antihystamines don't touch me at all. Kind regards. Dave.

    Had the same problem, rupatadine (antihistamine) and ipatropium (spray) plus the avymis did it. However you should ask to be referred to an allergic clinic.
