Anyone else get frequent outbreaks?

I was diagnosed with my initial outbreak the first week of June 2018.  It was awful.  It was all around my anus and maybe a couple on my labia but the labia was nothing compared to what was around my butt.

I did all the tests and found out I was a carrier as I had the virus in my system greater than 4 weeks which I don’t believe because I had sex for the first time in a year and a half 2 days prior to having my outbreak.

I was put in Valtrex.  It cleared up about 2 weeks later.

2 weeks later I had one small blister that never scabbed and disappeared within 48 hours.

2 weeks after that I had 3 around my anus but again, disappeared within 48 hours.

2 weeks after that I had one blister on my labia and that disappeared within 4 days.

Finally my doctor agreed to put me on suppressive therapy and change my prescription to Acyclovir.

I have HSV 2.  I find sex does nothing to trigger it but I think sun does.  I find I feel a burning sensation in my legs and then eventually where the breakout will happen gets itchy.  I also get the weird discharge where I feel “wet” constantly.  About 48 hours later the outbreak shows up and disappears.  So far I’m a week and a half into the suppressive and I started getting the burning sensation in my legs.  I’m really worried I’m going to have another outbreak.

Does anyone get frequent outbreaks and if you used to, how long did you have them before they calmed down?  I take Lysine and vitamins, eat well and exercise so I can’t really do better in that department.

For someone who was a “carrier” I’m starting to wonder if that test was accurate.  I don’t get how I can be having outbreaks every 2 weeks and have kept this in my body for what could have been years.

My initial outbreak I was put on Valtrex that day and it took 3 weeks to clear.  Every 2 weeks like clockwork I am still getting an outbreak but very very small.  Clears within 48 hours but still a pain.

Taking a pill every day, will help with the outbreaks. it takes about three weeks when you have a out break to heal. a week of blisters then a week for them to burst, a week for them to shed.

That was my initial outbreak.  Now the whole process takes about 48 hours.  Mine don’t scab though they just disappear.  It’s been confirmed that it is an outbreak though.

My first outbreak i was in hospital and it lasted about a month or more it was very very painful and bad 10/10 Pain. For the next couple months around my period time I would get more outbreaks 6/10 pain, that happened for about 4 months, I was in final year of school so stress level were high. For me my period was a trigger for the next couple years i got outbreaks before or even after my period but only a few blisters and sores. so I resulted in getting the implant in my arm to stop me from getting my period. The implant has helped in so many ways. And it did take me a while for my outbreaks to die down.
