Hi all, as the title says has anyone had side effects when changing time of day that you take your ven? I'm on 225mg a day which I had been taking 150 in the morning and 75 evening. My mood and anxiety had improved so so much but I was still having insomnia and was feeling tired all day so I changed as follows. I took 75mg thursday eve as usual, 75 Friday morning and then the 150 in the evening and have taken them like that since then. Wow!! I have had 2 amazing nights sleep since (although I did feel a bit groggy as I'm not used to sleeping lol) but at teatime yesterday and again today I've got mild brain zaps like I've had in the past when I've been late taking it and I've had a bit of mild anxiety today. Maybe it's because during the switch over on Friday I left out 75mg of my dose?? Aaaarghh! Lol

Hi there,
sorry to hear about your panic attack. My advice is you don't worry too much over the single episode. It looks like the medication has been working OK for your mood and anxiety problems. It is common to have time-limited bad episodes or even a few bad days during the recovery process, but the general trend is what matters most.
As for your original question, you may find posts by other people here complaining about changes in the effects of the medication and small "relapses" even after minor changes in the time they take Ven. My doctor thinks that this is mostly about self-suggestion. Also, you have to consider that bad days can occur independently of the time you take your medication, so some of us may be tempted to attribute a bad day to variations in the time they took the medicine, while it's just a coincidence. But seeing how common it is, one may be doubtful about this.
