Anyone else have this symptom with GERD?

When I drink water I get a really cold sensation in my belly. Before drinking I can feel my stomach burning and cold water seems to tame the burning. I have no idea if this makes any sense. Should I keep drinking water?

I’ve not had an endoscopy yet so I have no idea if I have GERD, gastritis or ulcers.

I feel burning a few hours after food, usually really bad at night, not much pain, a bit of nausea, but I can still eat. It’s mostly the burning sensation that makes me feel uncomfortable.

Right  now I’m not stressing too much , I’m just waiting for my GP appointment. If could be serious but for some reasons I’m very positive and have no care in the world.

Gavison is not helping and taking lansoprazole twice a day doesn’t do much either. Tbh it’s probably the food I eat. I’ve not been trying too hard to eat a bland diet lately.

There isn't any point that you should stop drinking water but you might not want to lie down after drinking it or drink too much of it.  You might want to try it with baking soda as long as your doctor says that it's ok and you don't have high blood pressure.
