Anyone else have trouble pooping?

Hello. I got diagnostic with LS this summer, i have it all the way from front to back. And my doctor also have done some testing on my tummy, since I have pain in my tummy, and I have periodically large problems pooping. I litterly cant get it out. Sometimes my anus tear, so I bleed some. Some times it feels like my whole butt is going to explode.
Yesterday i had so big problems that I had to take paper and abort the pooping, and actually press it in, so that I could take something for softening it when I got home. It feels like my butt cant expand enough. Even a small one is hard.
My doctor says she does not think my LS have anything to do with my tummy. But Im not that sure.
I am waiting for a coloscopy, but as things are now, Im very unsure if they can get it in.
And I dont feel like stretching to expand 😧
Regards.

Maybe you have IBS constipation especially since you have tummy pain. Did the dr give you steroid to us on the L S. When you have a colonoscopy you will have to have an empty colon by means of something like Moviprep before having it done so that they can see. Ive had a colonoscopy dont worry it will go up.

my daughter has had LS for the majority of her life and bowel movements can be very painful with tearing and pressure. She recommends having an episiotomy to release tension, it is uncomfortable to have done but long term is worth it. With the colonoscopy have the sedation it will make you much more relaxed, she hardly remembers a thing.

I have constipation problems too. I use Citrucel and 400 mg of magnesium for no more trouble in that regard. Good luck.

I have had the same problems having bowl movements. What worked best for me was drinking a lot of prune juice. It always makes it easier. I was told by my doctor to cut out all dairy, limit gluten and sugar as much as possible, Eliminating dairy really seemed to help with the bowl movements.

For more immediate relief maybe you should try a stool softener or psyllium? LS is often in the anal area which causes tearing of the skin.
You can't have a colonoscopy without completely emptying the intestines of stool which means a lot of time on the toilet the day before. The doctor should certainly be explaining that to you, but some doctors just assume people know things they don't.
In the meantime you need to make the stool passable by using the above mentioned over the counter aids and use the steroid externally to help heal the skin.

Yes I know that I have to emtying the stomach, and with some help to get i rally soft, that is usually not a big problem. But I dont feel that I can use this all the time.
As far as I can see, the anal is not very scarred (maybe on the inside). Some days it works good, other days I cant even get a well lubricated finger inside, and then I try to relax. That is why I am extra nervous about the colonoscopy.
I'm not sure if I think it is good or bad that bovel problems can follow the LS. Good to know, and on the other side, maybe good if I dont have to have another diagnose. Because something is not right, that I can tell. I guess I Just have to wait and see.
If things goes really bad, I know alot of stomia, and know that can "give someone their life back" . We have Morbus Crohns in the family, with stomia. (so offcourse I am a bit scared about that.).
It is really good to have someone in the same boat (or almost), because I think it is hard to see the daily things we think about, and have to deal with.

I have LS since I was little and only a few months ago it started spreading to the back. It burned like hell when I tried to do number 2, and I bled many times. I found that using LOTS of coconut oil back there really helps me.
