Anyone else? Sore and tired muscles in ribs, stomach, and back from overbreathing

Anybody else get this? I feel like unless I get deep breaths, I feel like I'm suffocating. To get the deep breaths, my ribs and diaphragm muscle are working extra hard. So my ribs feels sore, my stomach muscles feel sore and tired from having to expand and contract so much. Even my upper back muscles are tired. Does anyone else have this?

i am currently having severe abdominal pains sometimes struggling to eat because of it. I believe this is due to my inner anxiety. Is thus what you are getting?

      Hey Ian,

so sorry you are going through this. No, I'm not really getting abdominal pains or trouble eating. More like all my breathing muscles are sore and tired. And I'm scared they will get too tired and stop working. I also feel like I'm suffocating, even though I'm breathing in and out like a normal person. The inhales aren't really working towards a satisfying breath. How long have you felt your abdominal pains? are you under stress currently?

      hi

sorry you are also feeling the way you are. i am currently off with stress caused by burnout with my anxiety classed as clinical. i have had the pains for the past few weeks but the past few days more so. feels like the start of panic attack though i do not suffer from them. my heart feels like its ponding and i am on edge. believe the anxiety and my abdominal pains arr connected

Hi, I also am experiencing the same thing right now where both my ribs feel sore when i touch them from anxiety. I also feel like when i lay down facing the ceiling i feel like something is pushing my stomach in and it feels tight. Sometimes also when i take a deep breath i get like a sharp pain in my stomach and chest. Ima see my gp today for these symptoms and hopefully they can help but i also suffer from anxiety and these past weeks more than ever. My muscles also feel weird but my stomach is what im more worried about it.

Yes I’m always under stress in one way or another. But I did get gastritis from the anxiety so that’s the source of my stomach pain.
