I used to enjoy driving from Denver to Kansas now I am so nervous when I drive!! I feel like I am overwhelmed and that I am going to get dizzy! Does anyone have any advice how to become comfortable leaving them on house! I take 15mg of citalopram took 10mg for a year and a half just increased 9 days ago to 15mg!

I understand. It can be hard to locate these services, depending on where you live, how old you are, and what your life circumstances look like. The good news is that you have internet access, and there's tons of helpful CBT-like videos online that can help you. There are even apps you can get for breathing exercises and mindfulness. These things can help you until you're able to find a therapist to work with. Please feel better.

      Peace

Hi,I just read your post and I've been on celexa, well the citalopram is generic name,I've been taking it for a few years for my anxiety,I was having panic attacks and tryed quite a few dif meds before I found one I could tolerate the side effects, but it has helped me alot even tho I still have a hard time being around people or just going anywhere, and lately I cnt seem to shake not wanting to be alone.Ive been taking 10mgs for last 2 years,I was on 20mg before but it made me a lit more anxious sometimes so I dnt knw if its the meds or me,I've been thinking about talking to my Dr and maybe try something dif.I dnt like taking anything but I've tried many times without it,I've read a lit about how to cope with anxiety and our fears and they say try to stop and think( y r u so scared to b alone or leave the house.what do u thinks gna happen?)Try to tell ur self that there's really nothing gna happen to u for u to b so nervous, and that its just our anxiety making us think that way, always the worst.Sry for rambling on but I just wanted to let u know that ur not alone and if u need to talk this is a grew place to do so and get good advice!
