Anyone experience heart palpitations, chest pain and feel like they will pass out with anxiety

I suffer from health anxiety and have been having weird headaches and throbbing in head and numbness in limbs where I feel like I will pass out, visited the ER Twice got CT scans they said all normal, sometimes i feel a pain in my eye also with.

I have been experiencing chest pains and heart palpitations for a while and was checked out 7 months ago by a cardiologist who ordered a Holter monitor and echo stress tests and blood work. This was normal and the pain and palpitations subsided. I started feeling it back about two months ago, I feel my heart palpitating and throbbing in my chest along with squeezing chest pain and pressure happens sometimes when walking and i have to stop or it feels more intense if i keep moving. I have also been feeling dizzy and legs feel weak and also feeling lazy and faint like if i will pass out, also numbness in legs and feet and happens more when i am active, also not sure if this is physiological since I'm worried if i have a heart issue. This pain has felt so bad at times and feel like will just pass out. That I have been to ER about 7 times in the last two months, I have had 5 ecgs, two chest xrays and blood work all were normal. The most recent visited was about 10 days ago and all was normal. I still felt pain the same and palpitations and chest pain and feel disabled since i feel like will pass out and worried and I'm having a heart attack. I contacted my family doctor who said all checks I had done is assuring that i don't have any heart issues and its anxiety, the ER doctors also said the same, and if i have to see the cardiologist again waitlist will be months since nothing of concern was found. I am worried since I find if i have to go down the stairs do a quick walk I feel my heart area hurting, chest hurts, also feel like i cant take full breaths and then i panic and think about heart issues and i become worried.

Does anyone with anxiety experience just doing basic activities start feeling the palpitations and chest pain followed by feeling that you will pass out unconscious almost. My doctor has told me its anxiety and should start the medication he prescribed and nothing is wrong with my heart, since i had all those checks done and they were all normal. All tests have also cost me thousands of dollars. But this feeling of pass out and feel faint along with chest pains and palpitations is just terrifying is it really anxiety causing this. I also feel like I cant take full breaths sometimes while this is happening

    Hey!

i know you're pain. ive had anxiety for years now. ive been on and off different types of medicine. Currently im off my medicines. They most recently tried me on a type of blood pressure medicine to "slow down my heart" to curb my anxiety and that didnt work so i came off of that as well. ive been off it for about 8 months now... and im feeling very similar to you. ive been checked out by several doctors who say its not my heart. they always say its just my anxiety even when my main complaint is palpitations, chest pains and heart rates lower than 60 randomly when im resting. im horrible at questioning everything doctors tell me because i feel like theres no way these almost obvious heart issues are just my anxiety. youre not alone. i often think im having or going to have a heart attack when i feel the pain. ive gotten so disgustingly attached to checking my heart rate when i feel these scary symptoms. im trying so hard to work on my anxiety but its difficult when its mainly chest pains on your heart side. its messed with my work, my relationship and my social life. i dont drive anymore and im afraid to be alone at any point fearing it is my heart and i might die. its not a good feeling but you are not alone.

hi you could request your gp to do a 24 hour urine metanephrines or catecholamines test. your symptoms could be caused by way to much adrenalin in your system. its caused by a tumor of the adrenal gland called a pheochromacytoma its extreamly rare so doctors do not think to look for them the other tumor that can do this is a paraganglioma. they pump out hormones a pheo os always in the adrenal medulla but a para can be any where else between eyes and thighs so if your levals did come back high you would then need a ct or mri with contrast but needs to be eyes to thighs not just abdomen.

the reason I know this is because I have pheo and it took years for them to diagnose previous to it I was fobbed of as depression and anxiety most pheo patients are. these episodes at night are a big symptom of it it's to do with ether lying on the tumor and compressing it so it pumps out more or the sleep wake cycle. there is a very good support group on face book for this I am one of the admins on it.

if you read on line about it you will find it just gives you the basics it dosent shoe all the symptoms and a lot of the info is wrong and outdated one of the websites to look at is the pheo para allience they work with endocrinologists from all over the world. if your leavals did come back high you need a referl to a endocrinologist and it's important that they are experienced In pheo.
