I've only started noticing this happening a week ago and it's becoming a bit annoying to say the least. I only take Effexor once a day, usually in the morning but almost 15-20 after I take it I become off balance and get a mild headache but that's about it. Has anyone experienced this and is this something I should contact my doctor about?

I have been taking this drug for 18 months now and even now I get a strange sensation in my head for some hours. If you check the side effects of the drug you will probably find from memory that what you describe is listed. As you have only been taking it a week your GP will probably say to persevere as the drug does take time to settle in the system.

how long have you been on it? (if you dont mind me asking) ive only just started about 3 weeks ago and ive had a very similar feeling while taking it, it has since went mostly away but still a little there and i spoke to my dr about and she said that this is one of the more common side affects of this particular medicine. she did say that it should go away for the most part.
