I started getting tingling off and on all over mainly upper body/face-
it started after taking Three doses of Elderberry-
Now my touch sensations feel off-
when its not tingling my skin feels dry/hurts?
Now all of the pain I typically have after using my legs/this whole duration is dim and I'm not feeling pain but I know its there -again desenstized
getting concerned
Diagnosed with EPV /sick since 8/18
Never had this tingling and now its making me think I have something else like MS? Very frustrated......

Hi Star
Yeah I to have had this feeling, mostly in my left hand and foot. Im currently at 16/17 months and only tend to get the tingles if Im stressed out and do too much. One of my GPs too thought it was MS, but all the tests came back neg. So Ive personally just put it down to the EBV. Try not to stress about it, but do let your GP know about it next time you go see them.
Stay strong

hmm.. I kind of got tingly feet and legs and they would sort of lose sensation if i kept them still for a while but as soon as i moved them it would go away. i never experienced any pain though. I'm afraid this virus just causes many strange unexplainable symptoms and sometimes all we can do is wait it out. if you have pain maybe it is worth visiting a doctor if it worries you. it is always our tendency to think the worst and sometimes reassurance can help settle your mind. all of us with this virus have had these scares, you are not alone!

14months in... my arms and hands itch like pins & needles the last 2 months. I HOPE this is a sign that this virus is ending?? This virus is weird and strong. When you get better from one pain it seems to go elsewhere. Never wants to give in...we just have to show it we are stronger!

Hoping and praying for much better times ahead for everyone on here, everyone has suffered with this awful virus and I just hope and pray so much for healing from God and new hope and health and peace in everyone's lives.
Thinking about you Starr, Sweebee, Cjay, Dominika, everyone. Keep believing in your recovery, the enemy wants us to stay discouraged but he won't succeed with that. God tells us all things are possible to those who believe. I know it's easier said than done when in the midst of terrible trials, but I am believing that God is going to pull each of you through, remember others are believing for you, something to hold onto in the moments you are finding it hard to stay strong and optimistic yourself...

Thank you for your words of encouragement Starr, it means a lot. I know how much daily encouragement and help I needed from others when going through this virus, and was so lucky to have amazing family, friends and colleagues who were supportive. I know not everyone going through it is so fortunate and just want you and everyone to know recovery and a new dawn comes after the darkest and most horrendous storm of this virus.
My week has been a good and settled one Starr, very grateful for that. Thanks for your kind words and hoping for a good week ahead for you and all of us on the site with God's help!

I think that tingling, tremors, strange crawling feelings on the skin can all be VERY common during mono Starr, I absolutely want to reassure you. If you find the low grade fever is a symptom which bothers you a lot, then these things can be particularly present, but this low grade fever does cease with time and so do all the associated tingling and strange feelings / sensations on the skin.
It's so hard not to worry about other conditions - I went through the same horrible cycle of googling things and picking up on scare stories which frightened me and made me feel worse....it's an awful experience Starr and I do empathise. But remember that 90%+ of the western world get this EBV virus at some stage in their lives, many as babies or children when they don't get the full effects of the illness like adults do, and the vast vast majority of these people fully recovery and get well again, even if it is after a period of several months, and don't go on to have any other complications or health issues - please be reassured Starr. I know it's so hard not to worry, but none of the symptoms you have described sound out with the realms of mono to me, in fact much of it sounds like classic mono so just hoping very much that your mind can be put at ease - definitely discuss any fears / concerns with the doctor Starr, it's always wise to do that and just hoping that you can feel a bit more settled within yourself over the coming period.
Thinking about you still and believing fully you ARE going to get back to FULL health again with a little more time.

Oh Starr, God has heard and is hearing all your prayers. Just grateful that Jesus is the good shepherd and is with us always, even when we don't feel that way or feel alone, he is there and knows the bigger picture.
God works for our good Starr so you can be assured that He has plans to prosper you and give you a future and a hope and get you back to good health again, so hang in there...

Hey Starr,
Ah great to hear that you have a Scottish connection in your family! You are hereby an adopted Scot then! I have a friend through Church who is also a MacGillivray (spelling may be slightly different not sure).
It's not easy to keep holding on and to feel positive and optimistic when things are so intense and long-lasting, I just hope and pray for a breakthrough with things for you very soon Starr. It's not easy but we must remember that God knows what's best for us and His timing is perfect - praying for His mercy, sometimes we are pushed to the limits before we are brought back again - praying for God's healing and peace and strength in your life at this time and over the coming period.
Another person kindly posted the below links on another thread of the forum - some good advice about diet, herbs, supplements, etc for the EBV virus, and information about researchers working to produce a vaccine:

Hoping for a good week ahead Starr, hang in there still thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers.
