May be too high a strain. I can cope with 2 x 2 billion per day but when I tried 10 billion was in agony

I have used yogurt in the past but I believe that dairy upsets me so I am just starting to switch over to kombucha. I have a batch "brewing" now and will keep you posted once I start using it regularly.
By the way, I stopped using the Omeprazole about a month ago (without my doctor's knowledge until last week--she believes I should continue to use it, but I'm not unless I hear from the doctor who did my endoscopy that I should get back on it. I have not heard that yet.)
I find my stomach is VERY upset at night so I have been sleeping in the upright position for about a year. I have finally realized that my medications (unrelated to this issue) are causing upset at night and am now trying to take my medications earlier in the evening/late afternoon. I think that helps. (I do have a sliding hiatal hernia.)

I suppose it depends on the brand and type you are taking.
We have started fermenting our own Kefir which is made with whole milk.
Kefir contains around 30 strains of Probiotics and yeasts.
As it feeds of the lactose in the milk it is usually very well tolerated by those who have issues with dairy.
In terms of my digestion I really feel that it has been most beneficial.
