anyone fully healed after marsupialization? PLEASE SHARE

Hey all - I just had my two week post-op appointment with my surgeon....he says I am healing well and everything looks as it should.

I am honestly so depressed about the outcome. Yes, the cyst is gone that I've struggled with on and off for the past 9 years....but now there is a gaping hole! It looks like something out of a sci fi film....He says no sex for probably another 2-4 more weeks...but I am fairly certain I will never have sex again because of this.

He said the hole will shrink down over time, but it is supposed to be permanent so that the gland can drain as it is supposed to. YEAH NO S**T SHERLOCK.....BUT I THOUGHT THE NEW HOLE WOULD BE SMALLER. He fit an entire q-tip into it today no problem....the new opening has to be about the size of a blueberry. WTF. I bawled my entire car ride home.

I just can't shake this.... I used to have an extremely healthy and somewhat kinky sex life. Now I am completely insecure and don't see that changing with the way things look down there. God love my significant other for trying as hard as he is to make me feel better and that he loves me and wouldn't care....but I care. Feeling extremely regretful right now.

If you have fully healed, does it get better? Does the hole shrink down? I can't even imagine sex being comfortable with what is an opening into the gland..... I wouldn't wish this s**t on my worst enemy.
