Has anyone got the covid vaccine that has granuloma annulare? if so, was there any side affects, did it make the rash worse or better or no change? and which vaccine did you get?

First Pfizer shot, not much of anything. My second was January 23rd and I was once again covered in a month, after getting it to go away three years ago by switching to a paleo diet. Also a lot of inflammation started around the same time and I haven't felt better since. No way will I be convinced there's no relation. The kicker is that I had all the autoimmune labs done and everything came back negative. So once again, back to square one and still doing paleo.

Hi Roxie. I got the Pfizer vaccine back in April and did not notice any side effects related to GA. I was admittedly "vaccine hesitant" earlier in the year when the vaccines first came out and then decided to get vaccinated after paying attention to the results in countries that had a highly vaccinated population (i.e. Israel) and noting that everyone in my family was getting vaccinated with no ill effects. I'm so glad I did!

Before the vaccine I had a bit of GA on my thighs and legs and a couple of small patches on my belly. About 2 weeks after the second Moderna vaccine they started popping up everywhere. It has become progressively worse and now covers my entire back, neck and trunk of my body. Nothing helps. I do not know what to do with regard to the booster. Doctors are unable to advise. It is a nightmare!
