Anyone had diagnosis from MRI scan?

Has anyone had a successful diagnosis from an MRI scan? I just had mine yesterday so have to wait for my results. Did people gave to wait long for follow up appointment? Quick background of my symptoms. 3 months of drunk feeling/ swaying/unsteady on my feet. Sometimes ringing in My ears. Headaches, lack of concentration, not present feeling, no energy, extremely tired, anxiety at times over this.

So far eye test normal, bloods normal, hearing test normal, this has been my next step the MRI scan.

Thanks

MRI is usually to rule out serious issues such as stroke, tumors, thinning or blocked blood vessels etc.

right-MRI is just to rule out stroke brain bleed tumor. if you are seeing a doc that doesnt know about this then you will get your MRI is normal, you will get better with time. no real answer. you have the symptoms i had. i had 3 diagnosis. it ended up being vestibular migraines. look it up- see how it matches you. you have to advocate for yourself with this stuff. most doctors dont know. try to see an otolongoglogist or nueoro-ontologist. regular ENT or neuro dont know much and say you have Vestibular Neuritis. i am better now that i have a doctor treating me for vestibular migraines. but went thru hell for 3 months before i saw this doctor. and be careful with throwing anxiety out there many people here are being ignored because of anxiety. i had it too. especially out in public, scared of my surroundings for first time in my life.

had all same symptoms as you, mine started in march. all test came clear including mri amd ct scan. I have eye issues with all the ones you listed. Mines getting better but still have some symptoms woth no diagnosis. it's a type of vertigo, but had to get someone to tell me this. I didn't take any medicine, and it's going away except eye issues and lightheaded drunk feeling sometimes

all good advice in past comments. also google C1 neck and dizzy. if your C1 or C2 are messed up it can make you feel like this. you may want to get a cervical x ray and see a cervical chiropractor not a regular one but one that treats the cervical.

Yep, my MRI showed that I'd had a small stroke at the back of my brain. However all four of the consultants I've seen since about my dizziness and nausea didn't think that my current symptoms could be connected to the stroke.

since they dont think it is because of the small stroke- what did they say it could be from? because when i was hospitilized 2x they had to rule out stroke or brain bleed with MRI and catscans. are you getting treatment for the stroke? have you seen a specialist in dizzy issues?

Because my dizziness symptoms began 18 months after my stroke, the consensus from stroke and ENT consultants as well as a neurologist is that the dizziness isn't connected to the stroke; however they still haven't been able to diagnose my current symptoms. I've recently been referred to a Dr Bronstein at UCLH in London who specialises in causes and treatment of dizziness .

Treatment for the stroke consists of Atorvastatin and Clopidagrel daily.
