Hi everyone, I am new here.... I have been suffering with bad acid reflux for years.... last September I started to feel dizzy.... my ears are clogged and the dizziness is hard to explain. Nothing spins it's just a feeling like my ears and eyes are not in sync for like a micro second..... I feel this way when I am walking, turning head, etc..... My allergist says is the reflux getting into my ears..... I also have neck herniation.... not sure if it could be related to that too...... My ears are always clogged, so I was wondering if any of you suffer from acid reflux / silence reflux causing the ETD?????? If so, how did you fix it? I am in my wits ends... this has been going on since September of last year and I can't take it any longer 😦

Hi guys just came back from ENT doctor.... conclusion he said dizziness is caused by my allergies.... my ears are clogged.... he looked at my ears and throat thru a tube down my nose... also did a hearing test, which was 100% normal but I do have mild Eustachian tube disfunction due to allergies, he did a specific test for this, where they measure the pressure of ears.... he put me on allergy treatment and told me to go back if needed..... hopefully I start feeling better with treatment.....
He doesn't think it due to reflux..... although the allergist I saw thinks is due to reflux and no allergies..... so I am treating both.... will see how I feel in a couple of weeks.

Hi, i was diagnosed from h pylori a few years back.
however i didnt know what was wrong with for for 5 months. i also experienced extreme head pressure. it felt like nerve pain and a burning sensation in my head. at first they didnt know the correlation. however when i was diagnosed with h pylori they said that the acid reflux travelled to my throat and irratated my eustachian tubes hence the head pressure.
i was put on antibiotics and after several weeks i was cured.
recently i have experienced the same symptoms, acid reflux and the intense pressure in my head. i had an endoscopy and it was clear. i thought i had h pylori again.
i was hoping it was that as so they can treat it.
now im left with no answers.
have you experienced intense head pressure from acid reflux?

Hello guys,
i can see this forum is dated but id really appreciate if all you lovely people were able to help me! around 6 months ago i started to feel a great amount of pressure in my ear, GP was convinced this was down to sinus infection and treated me with antibiotics which only made things worse, then through my own research i connected the dots of my acid reflux and bad diet habits with my ETD which i have now been diagnosed with. i am on antiacids daily. However, often still have flare ups. can anyone let me know whether this is cureable or a life long struggle, i am 22 and miserable.

hi everyone, sorry I think I posted one yesterday but if it didn't show up then writing again.
I have same issue with ear completely blocked I had Tinnitus and light-headedness and anxiety .. my heart also start beating very fast. I went to doc he gave me Prednoslon (pardon spelling).. but another said that in Covid times, it's not safe to take that steriod as it weekens immunity.
After struggling for over a week , I was completely helpless took heaps of antihistamine and pain killers and anti depressants, steam, gargels nasal rinse, antibiotics but nothing worked..... but finally I found "Bhramari Pranayaam" .. oh my God, it worked like a charm. 1st day I did I felt my Eustachian tube open from inside throat and sensation of my humming travelling up to ear drums... and second day I did ,it popped my ear and haven't felt better in last 8 days !!!
please google how it's done.. and do it it's safe and simple!!!! just close your ears with thumb and cover your eyes with fingers all the way closer to where eyes meet at nose. (keep nose open).. and the take deep long breath and then humm loudly through your nose and slowly breathing out.. you can feeling humming is opening up brain and vibrations starting to travel through eustachian tube to ears. (depends how blocked you ear is !.. for mine I did 10 rounds and with every round I can feel vibrations travelling further up to my ear drum)..
good luck everyone. hope this works for you.
