has anyone had very intense vivid all jumbled up dreams and wake to a fog, not knowing which world youre in.the day is spoiled as you havent really slept, due to rem sleep...so constant yawning, no energy, go back to sleep.During the day there will be racing thoughts, commentary on what should be done...a lot of non stop chatters about anything,

took 135mg venlafaxine but did not work. switched to serttaline and have been on now for 14 Weeks, the last 6 on 100mg....and just had some very very small brighter days. i have to fight the dreams and the intrusive thoughts all the time. help,!!

i read that this is DP/DR Disorder. maybe gotta start with online cbt while the nhs one is being processed.

Anyone knows anything , or if you are suffering, please please help. This illness is almost 2 years old.

    Hi

I experienced similar conditions about 2 years ago the Sert will help over time and you will gradually get back to your old self or at least learn to manage your condition effectively. Things will improve just try and take one day at a time. Keeping a diary, talking to friends and this forum will also help. Best wishes for the future.

      Hi James

Thank you for your reply. At least I know that Sertraline does work. Its been a long time since starting it. Websites say 4 to 6 weeks will feel effect, and now its doubled the time. Hope you are doing well yourself. Thank you once again.

I have mostly nigthmares when I sleep now at week 4 of zoloft, but they were much worse before the meds so I assume the will be gone eventually. Hope it improves for you, having nightmares sucks especially when you live with the nightmare of mental illness at daytime.
