Anyone have idea what this is pressure pain under left rib flatulence

I have really bad pressure under left rib feeling as though I could pop I've never had bm every day just three times week not having diarrheoa awful pain I have actually got appointment with nurse today no drs free. I'm a soon to be 60 female with autoimmune liver disease I've stepped up water don't drink or smoke but this is affecting my breathing n I feel full like an ache in bottom of stomach almost as if I have water infection but without the burning pain any ideas

    Have you tried a food diary to see if food is the culprit such as gassy drinks, broccoli, cabbage and brussels sprouts?  Have your bowel movements changed and does your stomach pain move about?  I would see a doctor about your symptoms as soon as one is available.  A nurse will not be able to diagnose you; they can only refer you to a doctor.

      Hi pippa yes I went to drs but only nurses were free complete waste of time as nurse exaimed me then went and then called through a dr who prodded me I thought I was going to go through the roof he said I don't know what it is but cos I could raise my left arm he then said probably nothing serious. Hmmm I'm having a liver scan in ten days n the dr said cos of the scan the will probably pick what was wrong up. But it's a fibro liver scan so I doubt very much they will even go over to the left side so I'm left feeling frustrated

      No stomach pain dosent move about it's a pain under and around the left rib area I haven't eaten anything different either and I don't ever drink soda only water. And tea

      If your liver dcan comes up with nothing, I would ask to see a gastroenterologist since you have left sided pain.  Your intestines are located there both stomach and bowel.

      Yes that's right. I will I just saw my gastroenterologist only two weeks ago. Sod's law isn't it as only see him twice year next time is feb2018 but yes I will go to my gp and ask for referral

      What did your gastroenterologist suggest when you saw him?

      It wasn't happening when I saw him so he doesn't know about my under left rib pain

      Your gastroenterologist will probably run tests to diagnose you.
