Anyone here end up having botox more than once before fissure healed ?

Really concerned that my fissure isn't healing almost 5 weeks post botox and that more injections will be suggested at my 8 weeks check up
Any one here have experience of having a second set of injections before fissure healed ?
If so how many weeks between the two sets of injections ?
When did healing start ?
Please....no recommendations for going straight to LIS ....i only want to know about successful botox healing at this stage
Many thanks

Hi Hun,
I have had botox twice, once in April last year and then again in October, it does take a while for the botox to kick in..so don't lose hope. I would say its felt 90% for the last 3 weeks now.. i dont think i am completely healed but its sooo much better than it was ( i no longer what to kill myself after each toilet trip lol) but honestly give it a little while longer before you decide to have it done again.. it still has time to work.. the first 5 weeks after my botox i felt worse rather than better and was soo upset but then it seemed to feel better all of a sudden..
Hope you feel better soon xx

That is such an encouraging response thank you
I am in so much pain after a bm that holding onto hope is really hard
Unfortunately for me with a high fibre plant based diet I go 3 times every morning and it's hell
I didn t go as often before the fissure and I am eating less too so don't know how that all works
I am now taking a stool softener Laxido so hoping that will make a difference 👍👍

Do you know what, i have changed my diet recently and been eating loads of protein and veg etc and forgot about the whole fibre thing they tell you because i was like you would only go every couple of days then starting taking fibre gel and was going every day!! i wanted to afford the toilet not make myself go ha ha but ust make sure they are soft as you dont want to re open any healing that may of already taken place..
You will get better so just hold on to that hope - this isnt forever xxx

Sorry for the slow reply.
Yes I am in the UK - Lancashire.
I know what you mean.. its a relief to hear nice stories sometimes isn't it because there seems to be alot of bad reiews on the botox procedure, when i first had it done i was sooooo close to cancelling it because everyone said it wont work.. but everyone is different and what works for them might not work for you and vice versa...
How are you feeling now i know its sooo hard to do but try not to let it control every inch of your thoughts... i found the more i thought about it the worse i would feel the pain would literally consumes every part of my life..
The name of that cream is Desitin - try it hun - if you are anything like m e you will have tried every cream possible and your cupboards will literally look like Lloyd pharmacy for bums ha ha but give it a whirl..

Thanks Hayley
I had an amazing day on Tuesday...virtually no pain ..walked 4.5 miles and had a trip to Waitrose....most normal I've felt in 11 weeks !!
Return to pain since then but definitely less and feeling more hopeful that things are improving
It's 6 weeks tomorrow since the botox so a bit concerned that not enough healing will take place before the botox wears off
Also wondering whether the terrible spasms will return when the sphincter no longer paralysed ....did that happen for you?
Been trying to take your advice and not let it be totally all consuming and that's been easier this week 👍?
