Anyone know of any additional infections or conditions brought on by herpes ob?

How long does it take a herpes lesion to go away? I mean from the time it appears as a little bump until it blisters, bursts, scabs and disappears.

I have two small bumps that have not changed for about 2 1/2 weeks. They have not blistered. All other bumps, lesions, blisters have all healed and disappeared now for about a week. It makes me think that this is a secondary infection. Any ideas?

I think there is no rule of thumb to go by when it comes to herpes and that's because, everybody's body handles it differently. It took me I think like 3 weeks or more for everything to go down and that was w me taking meds daily.

Rey to stay away from triggers such as alcohol, coffee sugary things, nuts, no sleep. Add lysine supplements to your diet, 3000mlgs w ob and 1000mlg w out it. Eat pineapple daily and take 3xs the daily dose of vitamin c daily and see I'd that helps.

I'm not having an outbreak. I've had that and it's passed. My question was is it possible for that outbreak to bring about a secondary infection like what I am experiencing now. And if these bumps are part of the original ob, why are they presenting so differently. And how long typicall is the life span of one lesion. I know during my ob, from the time the lesion appeared until the time the blister burst was about 4 dayd. Then of course a new blister would form and so on. This is not whatI am describing.

Right and as I said, there is no rule of thumb on how the obs will behave. My last obs I've had, was just a red bump for a week. It never progressed any further than that and I'm on daily meds. I have obs every month. Do you aee what i mean? There is no such tjing as typical, but if you want to generalize it, it would be basically what you described. When i jad rwd bumps, along w open sores, the red bumps that neber tiened into sores appeared to stay longer. Is it possible for a herpes sore to get infected? Yes. But you yourself said those bumps never became open sores, so an infection wouldn't present in a different area of skin, that never broke.

Do they itch? Do they hurt? Is that an area that experiences lots of friction? Not all breakouts will result in blisters and you'll have some that stay red bumps and some that turn into a blister. Are they mainly flesh colored?

About 3 - 4 month after I found out I had herpes I developed bumps. For another 3 -4 months more bumps developed and got bigger. I finally went to the dr and found out it was HPV (gentital warps). Kind of sucks when you have only been with one person.for the last 20 yrs. needless to say, I am happily divorced now.

    Good Luck
