Anyone on potassium citrate?

my doc said it would help me stop forming stones. Anyone else on it?  The pills are huge.

    was your stone an oxalate stone?  my docotr said to avoid oxalate foods , but those r the healthier ones, so would prefer alternatives. maybe like the potassium citrate u take. was never mentioned to me. but who knows

      Not an oxalate stone. I did the 48 hour urine test and I guess my body doesn't make enough of something or makes too much something. He says these will help so I don't make stones.

    I take Potassium Citrate. Its only to keep the Ph at about 7.0 I noticed no difference in stone formation.
