I'm going through Peri and my periods are so heavy so DR has prescribed Tranexmic acid. Can anyone help if its good to use? I don't want the coil with all my peri symptoms

Hi. I have not taken tranexamic acid but I use to take mefenamic acid for heavy and painful periods as a teenager. I found it very helpful. I sure this drug will help your heavy periods.
