Anyone start feeling better right after iron infusion then feel back to normal soon after?

My labs before infusion for reference:

Ferritin 11ng/mL

Hemoglobin11.6 g/dL

RBC 3.98 M/uL

Iron35 ug/dL

Iron saturation 11%

I had an iron infusion 1000mg of INfeD on July 10th 2020. Within 3 days I was feeling noticably different. More energy, more motivation, and a lot warmer. By July 19th I feel just the same as I did before the infusion. Fatigued, cold, drained, lightheaded, etc.

Is it common to feel better then worse? Does it mean I used up the 1000mg already? Do you think I'll start feeling better as time passes? Thank you for your help. I'm desperate to start feeling well again. Been like this for 8 years.

    hi,

I've just had my second iron infusion yesterday and already feeling worse for it.

    my pre infusion numbers were

    Ferritin 3ng/mL

    Hemoglobin 7.9 g/dL

    RBC 2.78 M/uL

    Iron 15 ug/dL

    Iron saturation 8%

these were the worst results I've had in 4 years so much so i had the infusion booked for the day the bloods returned.

I had a 5 hour infusion of cosmofer 2040mg can still taste it now.

my lower back is really sore, limbs feel heavy, headache, joints hurt, and more tired than before.

hope by now you feel better as its been 2 months
