    Hi Hudson

I had alot of this including my legs when I first noticed my symptoms. This did get very bad when resting or in bed, once my medication was sorted it got better. I still have times with the jerking whitch go's through my whole body, I notice this more if i have had a bad day. I also get fasciculation's in the whole of my body and again this is worse on a bad day or if my meds are not working so well. My GP and Neurologist do not seem to think it a problem, so I don't worry about and except it all as part of my symptoms, hope this helps.

    Regards

    Tony

    Hi Hudson

I get strange nervy feelings in my knees and aching joints in my hands and sometimes elbows. Alone with the shoulders neck and head. It seems we all get some of the same symptoms and some different ones! Good luck with yours

Hi there, my pins and needles are in both my hands and I also have a partial paralysis of my left hand side affecting my arm, hand leg and foot. It is really weird how you can have painful pins and needles and numbness at the same time? I also find that if I put pressure on my left finger tips then my left arm goes numb and my shoulder jerks and drops! Its been really helpful for me to start a daily diary and write down each symptom as it happens and consequences of certain movements ie: cracking bone sounds as I move my neck causing the left side paralysis, pressure on my fingers causing shoulder to jerk and then drop, arm movements that cause pins and needles etc etc. With CS I have discovered all the strange and bizarre changes that go on in your body so I write it down. A diary also helps with Medical appointments as the answers are at hand. This site has so much information on this debilitating condition and all first hand too. I felt very alone until I found all of you so thank you all so much.

PS. Sorry, I forgot to mention that pins and needles are caused by the compressed vertebrae pinching the nerves in the spine. MRI scans don't always show up nerve 'pinching' but will show up permanent damage. This is one of the 'cop out' clauses that Doctors use!! First hand experience has taught me how this condition can be undermined by Doctors.

    Hi Folks,

Yeah I too get pins and needles, tremors etc. I have a habit of dropping things often too. I go to a community centre twice a week, I am told to drink my tea in a different part of the hall each time as the floor only gets washed where I spill it. I am gradually working my way around, you can tell where I have been by the clean patches on the floor.

Many years ago I hurt my lower back following a fall. It cleared up after a few months and everything was fine. Five years later I started getting severe pins and needles in my right leg when standing, sometings it got so bad my leg felt as though it were on fire. Tests revealed a trapped nerve due to the fall causing a slipped disc. Pressure on the nerves in the spine can cause all sorts of pains anywhere in the body.

    Cheers,

    Janner
