Anyone suffering from non-epileptic seizures?....

Hi Atom ,nice to know someone who has this same problem ,I'm not on medication for this thing they call epilepsy , aura type or what ever its called ,only because I ended up refusing the last lot ,I had so many side affects ,then to get this polymialgia on top of it ,I don't know what to blame , and funny thing this weekend is epilepsy day in Herveybay qld near here too lol , my "turns " I call them seem to turn up about 30days apart , ,so I'm due for another one any time , all I know is (not much ) I do get a warning and a few hours later a stronger one ,then I know to prepare for them , and yes they are scary and happen all through the night , then get less and further apart , nobody wants to listen about them and I don't know what to tell you or what to suggest , maybe some one else on this cht line may have some ideas hey , I hope so anyway , ,

What I meant to say ,was it takes a week or mire to get over these turns and yes they are scary , I'm thinking of asking my "new g p " if I can cave another EEG just to confirm this problem , and it does make you depressed atom so don't think your loosing your mind , they haven't suggested a psyc.,for me yet , bear up mate , get motivated , I know also how hard that is too , , it helps to just get it off your chest , that's why I joined this forum , and I sure ramble on lol

Do you know what triggers your turns off , I know tension is one as well as excessive heat and cold , I wanted to ask you that last time

Hi there thanks for the replies. I've had another seizure over the weekend & not sure what brings them on but they gave me diazepam this time & seemed to have list test sleeping. . Resting up today but feeling actions so off to chill. How often do you have yours?... Are you epileptic? What's polymiagla?... So sorry you have a few health going on too... Perhaps we'll help eachother in some way as my medics are not helping me much at the moment.

s about time , i have spent so much time signing in lol how are you Atom , your probably got in the right forum only i shift around between the polymyalgia and the epilepsy chat line , i too dont know much about our problem , but its scary , and i believe they do help with diazepam i just ask for 5 mg valium ,same thing , , now i have a new doc. and havent got around to sorting it out with him yet , at present im trying to rid my body of this bug that has some how fighting my immune system ,they dont know much about that one either , polymyalgia rheumatica and all they treat it with is this ... prednisone , and i have fought against it right from the start , , ,,bor there are some sorry sick people out there , im trying to build up my immune system by leaving refined foods alone and eating well , , getting back to yours and my problem i stopped taking any medication for it as i had so many side affects it was worse than the problem , im going to ask for another eeg just to see what they say , , now my last "turn " i call them was just last wednesday night , all through the night , then a couple in the morning , i stayed in bed all day till i felt a bit better , , i still think mine are worse since the specialist started me on medication , you just go along with them dont you as they are supposed to know what is best , , i get a warning with a feeling one is coming on , then a couple of hours another one a lot stronger and from then on its one after the other while i try to sleep , , , and with the 2 complaints as well as being 84 , well you know what im up against lol but im still with it and a lot of fight in me yet lol , anyway im rambling on about my self , did they put you in hospital ?? and are you on medication , ?? hope your feeling ok soon , dont know if i have been any help , but its good to chat anyway ,
