Anyone taking Hydroxyzine for anxiety

Posted , 4 users are following.

I have just visited a new psychaitrist and he prescribed me 20 mg x 3 hydroxyzine for anxiety. He told me that this meds is forstvfound to treat allergy and itichness but in the same time it can be used to treat anxiety. I have read this article on https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3184565/ and it says it has been successfully proven to help people with panic attacks. Anyone taking this ? Any feedback will be welcomed.

I've been using it for 6 months now and I really like it. I told my doctor I didn't wanna get addicted to something like Xanax, so this is what she gave me. I take 2 at bedtime and it works beautifully, as I've always had trouble falling asleep. It'll make you kinda drowsy at first but with continual use that guess away. At least it did for me. I hope it works out for you!
