Anyone taking sertaline for anxiety an just started out on it?

anyone else struggling through this sertaline to start off with an does it get better each day please?

    it does get better, I wouldn't say it's noticeable each day but I had 2 days about 2 weeks apart where a really obvious cloud lifted and then a couple of weeks after that I realised I hadn't thought about my anxiety or had physical feelings. it gets worse before it gets better so hang on in there. if you Google sertraline reviews there are loads of really positive stories from people that really helped me to keep going x

      im keeping positive every day, did you have insomnia in the nights? cant get through a night with out a sleeping tablet, hope it settles soon.

    Hi,

    Yes i am. i have generalized anxiety disorder and mild PTSD from the traumatic death of my husband. I started on 25 mg a week ago and have just moved up to 50 mg today.

    Having some bad side effects though, nausea and completely no appetite oh and the fatigue and sleeping issues are just awful but I think to be honest that is my body just being anxious. I'm really hoping things start to ease soon. ill keep going. i hope things work for you too.

      so sorry to hear about your husband 😔.. I'm still on 25mg at the moment see how that goes in a few days time for me. that's all the symptoms i had with it. what an horrible feeeling it is . i hope things ease soon for both of us an look after yourself.
