Has anyone tried an SSRI to help with withdrawal, I've beeb trying citalopram and briefly sertraline to help with zopiclone withdrawal , and it has made things 10 times worse just wondered if anyone else found this. My symptoms were anxiety and intrusive thoughts, but the cit given me OCD as well. Now stopped it as couldn't take the side effects so now going through cit withdrawal which is much worse than the zop was. In hindsight was big mistake trying it.

You should ask your doctor about Mirtazapine . It's an antidepressant that is for Depression, Anxiety and it has a sedative to help you sleep. it helped me in the past for sleeping cos you take it at night. i think the lowest dose works better for sleeping. You could try that along with Venuflaxine which im finding is helping keeping my anxiety at bay, which I have pretty bad. I'm not sure if Mirtazapine is an SSRI or an SNRI but Venuflaxine is an SNRI

All medications are the same in how they effect someone, they have the same effect on people across the world. I think you should try eating more healthy and try omega 3 supplements and foods, they are supposed to be good for the brain.
