Anyone tried 'Clipper' drug?

I've been told that they are going to start me on a new alternative to steriods and azathioprine next week called Clipper/Beclometasone dipropionate. Has anyone else tried this and if so any luck? Any bad side effects?
Any info much appreciated x

Will let you know how it goes!
It's day two, I take x1 5mg tablet a day which is a lot less than the usual pred dosage. Seems bleeding has stopped already which usually happens with the pred too. Still sore and swollen tummy.

So same effect as pred but no side effects that I am aware of no swelling in face etc
Stop tablets after 4 weeks and good thing is as you only have to take one a day I don't have to gradually decrease my dose blah blah.
So if you get a flare up and are prescribed presnisolone, BEG for this clipper steriod ([b:2d75dc1e93]Beclometasone dipropionate[/b:2d75dc1e93]) instead!

I have read your post from last year about the Clipper Pednisolone you went on whilst Pregnant at 12 weeks. I was wondering how you got on with it through pregnancy and was the baby ok? Hope you dont mind me asking its just i want to change to clipper rather thannthe standard prednisolone ive been on with my colitis for over a year, but my hospital wont let me as they have no experience of it in pregnancy. can you shed some light on it.
thanks in anticipation
