my Dr wants me to up my dose from 7.5mg per day to 10mg per day and then 20mg per day as I'm struggling with high anxiety and awful thoughts. i suffer horrendous side effects at every increase. she's given me propranolol too and it seems to take the edge off the adrenaline and heart racing and I'm wondering if this is better than an increase?

Im on 20mg of citalopram and 10mg of propranolol, my dr perscribed it after a couple of weeks due to bad side effects, said i can take up to 4 times a day as required however i currently have it 3 times and am going to reduce to 2 next week

thanks for replying - did you find it helped ease the side effects? and how long have you taken it for?

Im not sure to be honest, my morning nausea stopped once i started taking them but not 100% sure if that was because of them or not. They dont really help with my health anxiety but maybe if i wasnt taken them id have other things. Im going to try ease off them as i dont want to be taking too many pills so ideally just want to be taking the citalopram on its own
