Anyone try tea tree oil on the shringles?

I tested a little bit on a small one and felt burned for about half an hour. Is it normal?

Do you think it helps for rapid healing?

I also use the zovirax cream at the same time but switching between hours. Do you use the same? How long should it take? Or by how many days should I see the result and see if I should continue or stop using it?

I dont know if anything really helps, but i am a huge believer in tea tree oil.

You could try diluting it with olive oil.

How do you use it? Together with the zovirax creme or use it alone? And I saw the skin is kind of red like burn, is it normal like this after using for several times?

I love tea tree oil! It does burn a bit at first, but then leaves you feeling cool and itch-free. Best to dilute it with water on a cotton pad and then increase the concentration according to your comfort level once you're used to it. I have only used tea tree oil by itself, so not with an antiviral cream or ointment.

I have used it internally (vaginally) for what i thought was bv. Turned out it was internal hsv. You can get tea tree oil suppositories that are very soothing and help with inflamation

      It kills yeast too

I never get lesions so i cant speak to that
