Anyone using Prozac along with Venlafaxine?

Doc is having me use Prozac (fluoxetine) low dose as a bridge off Effexor.  Started with 10 mgs last week now up to 20 this week.  At end of week I am to reduce from 75 mg ven to 37.5.   Just wondering if anyone has done a similar thing or going thru it now.  Last week I felt awesome!   Since starting the 20 mgs of Prozac I’ve felt extreme fatigue & a bit of a lost appetite.   Thanks for any replies.

    I'm trying the exact same thing now. I'm terrified because previously I'd opened and removed beads and had a terrible reaction. Not sure if I'm ready to do a giant jump. My doc said to alternate between 75 and 37.5 xr for a week and then do 37.5 for a whole week. Will report back but I'm 99% certain the drop will have severe side effects for me. 

    That's not to say it will for you too! Everyone responds differently to this medication and some people are more sensitive than others. Also I've been on it for more than 10 years!

      Thanks for the reply.  Please let me know how you are doing.   I’m still on the 20 mg Prozac right now.  Going to bump up to 15 soon.  I need off of this Effexor 75 mg soon.  I’ve been on it for almost 8 weeks now & I don’t like it.

      I meant still on the 10 mg Prozac.
